Job Description
Amazon Smart Home Services (ASHS) is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to drive standardization and continuous improvement in our fulfillment experience. You will define and build the process and technical roadmaps that drive continuous improvement in fulfillment quality and scalability. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful and customer-focused. He or she will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

The Amazon Smart Home Services team allows customers to book a variety of smart home services from installing a smart thermostat for your home to integrating Alexa across all your smart technology. Our services are completed by an in-house Amazon Expert and available across the United States.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, and show strong ownership/commitment. Customer obsession is a must.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of process improvement experience, preferably in an fast paced, online environment.
  • Passionate about understanding customers and their behavior in order to drive new feature development.
  • Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Drive network level productivity and efficiency by designing and implementing processes, programs and measurement systems.
  • Collaborate with operations, business and engineering teams to identify process gaps and implement scalable mechanisms.
  • Define Kaizen schedule; lead projects to minimize touches and waste; implement measurement systems to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in engineering or math.
  • Proficiency with SQL.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Advanced skills in statistical analyses.
