Rework Technician (Temporary)

SAGE is currently seeking an experienced Rework Technician to support the controls department in reworking approximately 600 printed circuit boards over approximately eight weeks. This role will regularly report status and also provide ideas for process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Follow rework instructions set by controls engineering.
• Help identify any issues that might improve the rework process.
• Closely manage boards to ensure revision control is followed.

Required Skills:

• Must have experience with lead free components and soldering equipment.
• The ideal candidate would be able to work with very small parts under a microscope, have IPC610 Certification and experience soldering surface mount components.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and work in a team environment.
• Requires minimal supervision and direction.

Education:

• A minimum 2 year degree in Electronics is preferred.
