Palo Alto SecOps Professional Consultant - Long Term - Fully Remote
The Professional Services Consultant for Security Operations (SecOps) provides a mix of on-site customer facing SecOps design activities as well as internal solution development and knowledge organization around the Palo Alto Networks Elements of Security Operations. You will be a SecOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) having a background in Security Operations and know how to identify problems, develop solutions to those problems, and then deliver on those solutions according to industry standards and Palo Alto Networks best practices. You will drive the development and utilization of new service solutions for our SecOps practice. Developing customer facing documentation, delivery strategies, and deliverables to assist Palo Alto Networks clients to build and enhance their security operations centers.
Qualifications:
Become a trusted advisor to customer security operations centers guiding them to adopt best practices to help them achieve their unique missions and goals.
Conduct security operation assessments, providing recommendations based on Palo Alto Networks best practices and global standards.
Review and consult with clients to analyze logs and events from capabilities to recommend improvements to their people, process and technologies based on Palo Alto Networks best practices and global standards.
Build incident responses processes and procedures for client environments using Palo Alto Networks best practices, allowing customers to realize the full value of all capabilities as they evolve with our SecOps principles and best practices
Demonstrate the robustness and the value of advisory services
Execute tasks and activities outlined in the service descriptions
Achieve the target billable utilization set by the business demands
Implement services based on Global Solutions Architects design and within scope of the project.
Build Global knowledge and grow expertise in SecOps deployments
Maintain an active knowledge of impacting security incidents, to provide table top exercises for security operations teams
Contribute to a library of Intellectual Property such as methodologies, best practices, and templates for the SecOps Solutions
Create slides, write reports and develop deliverables that use concise communication to illustrate complex problems consumable by Directors and above.
Position can sit remotely near any major US airport.

Your Experience
Experience participating in the building of a Security Operations Centers
Experience in incident response and threat hunting
Experience in integrating security solutions services in large environments
Experience in communicating and delivering executive level presentations
Ability to effectively juggle and manage many different tasks simultaneously
Ability to provide complex solutions in customer environments and document findings
Travel (50% Post Covid-19) customer site installing and deploying Palo Alto Network solutions as outlined by the statement of work
