Wenger Corporation is seeking an Acoustics Performing Arts Specialist to join our team! As a Acoustics Performing Arts Specialist, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by building key industry relationships and providing technical coaching of all field sales representatives and managers regarding Wenger's acoustic products.

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • BS/MS degree in architectural acoustics, or five (5) years of successful experience in a consultative sales environment with primary focus on architectural acoustics
  • Experience in selling environment with multiple decision makers and influences

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM
  • Experience implementing active acoustic technology

What you will do on a typical day:

  • Liaison to professional consulting community and project design teams
  • Coordinate consistent connections and regular office visits with Acoustical Consultants
  • Be the single point of contact for consultants: technical questions, design support, business concerns, etc.
  • Ensure bid and specification support for all Performing Arts products
  • Support professional consultant society within the community (local chapters, science fair judging, etc.)
  • Be the product expert for PA: full stage shells, motorized banners and drapes, active acoustics
  • Assist with executive summaries for large, bundled projects
  • Host in-situ product demos of PA products for key customers
  • Broker new market opportunities, GTM strategies, and partners for performing arts
  • Conduct pre-sale site visits
  • Influence early design considerations; ensure project solutions fit within Wenger's strengths and capabilities
  • Work with VP of Sales to develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, processes, markets, competitors, buying influences, customers, and customer processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide training when appropriate for selected segments in the organization
  • Use Salesforce tools and processes for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) opportunity pursuit
