Assistant Bulk Loader (Night Shift 6P-6A) - $19.50/Hour + $5,000 First Year Sign On Bonus

*Train on 1st shift for 1-3 months. After training, will move to night shift schedule*

Your role:

As Assistant Bulk Loader you will be responsible for safely operating, inspecting, and loading bulk flour trailers.

Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

Your responsibilities:

1. Must have the ability to perform ALL associated job functions in a safe manner, following all safety procedures, taking all precautions, and using all required safety equipment.

2. Must be able to operate safely an 18-wheeler for the purpose of pre weighing, spotting, loading, and re weighing bulk trailers.

3. Must be able to inspect trailers and determine if condition is acceptable for loading.

4. Must be able to load bulk trailers, complying with all procedures and requirements.

5. Must be able to fill out and complete all required paperwork associated with loading and weighing.

6. Must be able to input all data associated with loading and weighing of bulk trailers.

7. Must be able to work required hours including overtime any shift, seven days a week if necessary, including holidays.

8. Must be able to properly load at a minimum of 1.5 trailers per hour or 10 per shift.

10. Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

11. Must maintain high levels of safety and sanitation performance which includes Safety Audits, 5s Audits and others as required.

12. Must sign off on Employee Classification Procedure when qualified on all aspects of the job.

Essential skills and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment
  • Learn and understand all Safety and Food Safety Policies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Plant Management, Mill Team and Maintenance Team.
  • Have demonstrated problem solving / decision making abilities, is preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to resolve personnel conflict and handle multiple priorities at a time.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • To be considered, applicants must be willing to work 3rd Shift.
  • Perform lifting, pushing and pulling of product hoses while unloading.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times every day.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. regularly.

Good to have:

  • Familiarity with GMP's and HACCP
  • Manufacturing experience in food facility
  • Experience driving 18-wheelers/ CDL great to have

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e. safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection and, at times, a respirator)
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

Ability to work a machine paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with conditions which include:

  • Heat/Cold temperatures (inclement weather)
  • Indoor/Outdoor environment
  • Dusty environment
  • Noisy environment
  • Frequent moving/vibration/ or other motion of equipment/processes
  • Elevated Places

Must pass a physical abilities testwith or without reasonable accommodation with the ability to:

  • Frequently stand, walk, rotate,bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance and reachor lift at shoulder level,above shoulder level,and below shoulder level
  • Occasionallylift, shoveland/or carryup-to50lbs
  • Step up on to a 19" step or surface while maintaining 3 points of contact as needed

Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.
