The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs’ (OFCCP) revised veteran and disability regulations require federal contractors and subcontractors to assess the effectiveness of their outreach and recruitment efforts. As a result, employers must include an outreach assessment within their Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) and are audited on the effectiveness of their outreach efforts. Meanwhile, OFCCP audits with “violations” increased from 5% to 30% in recent years, due in large part to alleged outreach and recruitment violations.
Join LocalJobNetwork.com and Chris Patrick, Attorney at Jackson Lewis, as we explain what OFCCP is looking for in audits relating to outreach and recruitment as well as how to conduct, track, and assess effective outreach and recruitment.
